The hostelry also offers a low cost menu ranging from pies, to fish and chips, to gammon steaks, which are all home cooked and produce is sourced locally. Sunday roasts are being introduced from September 1, costing just £5.95.
Steak specials are available on Monday evenings and on Wednesday evenings a curry club takes place.
On Thursdays and Saturdays a 'very popular' karaoke session takes places, a weekly meat raffle on a Friday, as well as occasional discos. A function room is also available, which caters for up to 80 people and buffets can be served.
The hostelry has a large television screen which showcaseson screen which showcases Freeview, a pool table, darts and dominoes. New players are needed for teams.
Weekly guest ales are available, the latest being Ringwood and outside there is a courtyard with a smoking area.

Mr Machin said: "Our customers are really nice and there is always a friendly welcoming atmosphere. We offer delicious meals and comfortable modern rooms.
"I haven't been here long, but I really want to boost the food and accommodation side to the pub. Everyone is welcome to come and try us.
